Star Wars draws on plenty of genres for its unique science-fiction setting. The Jedi and Sith draw heavily on old samurai films, from their philosophical focus to their preference for swords in battle. However, many other characters draw from war films, crime films, and Westerns.

Lightsabers and the Force are only the weapons of choice for a fraction of the galaxy. Much of the populace, including several heroes and villains from Star Wars works, have to rely on blasters. Most major Star Wars characters can hold their own in a fight, but some have shown themselves to be prodigious with ranged weapons.

10 Cassian Andor

Cassian Andor is one of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's main characters and the protagonist of Andor. He enters the fight against the Galactic Empire at a young age, many years before he officially joins the Rebellion. He develops a lot of skills over this time - for example, he's a great leader and pilot.

However, one of Cassian Andor's main roles in the Rebellion is assassination. He often does some of the Rebellion's less pleasant jobs. Neither Rogue One nor Andor show Cassian flexing his sniping skills, but he's trusted with the high-profile job of killing Galen Erso. Cassian's blaster has a special configuration for sniper mode, which shows his experience.

9 Din Djarin

Din Djarin is the title character of The Mandalorian. Even before he acquires his beskar armor and begins traveling the galaxy with Grogu, he's a very effective bounty hunter. In both The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Djarin is good with almost any sort of weaponry.

Djarin has fought with flamethrowers, melee weapons, and the Darksaber. However, he's most comfortable with his blasters. Djarin is an excellent shot with his blaster pistol. He also wields the rare and expensive phase-pulse blaster, which can disintegrate a target with one shot. Djarin often uses these weapons to lethal effect.

8 Rako Hardeen

Rako Hardeen is one of the Star Wars galaxy's many bounty hunters. He's never actually seen in proper action. Hardeen appears in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as part of a plot to take Obi-Wan Kenobi's death. Nonetheless, his brief appearances establish him as lethally efficient with a blaster.

Hardeen is known as the Marksman of Concord's Dawn. His alias reflects his preference for and skill with a blaster rifle. It's also believable that he could have slain Obi-Wan Kenobi, even by those who've fought the Jedi. As such, Hardeen has to be one of the galaxy's best shots.

7 Chirrut Îmwe

Chirrut Îmwe is one of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's most distinctive characters. He's a blind monk and a former Guardian of the Whills. Although he isn't a Jedi, Chirrut has some level of awareness and sensitivity toward the Force. He's able to see Cassian's murderous intent, fight with a staff, and even use ranged weapons.

Chirrut makes few shots through Rogue One, and every one is impressive. He shoots down a TIE fighter over Eadu in a single shot using his lightbow. Chirrut hits the fighter from a great distance away and saves a beleaguered rebel pilot. It's one of the most impressive shots in the entire Star Wars saga.

6 Jango Fett

Jango Fett is one of the galaxy's most famed bounty hunters at the time of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. He's a Mandalorian with an excellent predisposition to war. He only has a few opportunities to display these skills in the films, but most of his fights show him to be skilled with his blasters.

Fett makes a long-range shot with a poison dart at Episode II's beginning. He's then able to fight Obi-Wan Kenobi to a draw and kill Coleman Trebor at short range. He only loses when Mace Windu takes the upper hand in a fight. Fett's skills and genetics go a long way toward making the Clone Troopers as effective as they are.

5 HK-47

HK-47 is Revan's personal assassin droid in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video games. His status in current Star Wars canon is dubious, but his skills are not. HK-47 is one of the most effective ranged party members in either game. Although he can't fight in melee or use the Force, his skill with blasters is legendary.

HK-47 can hold his own in a party full of Jedi. Even in the lore, he goes on several highly successful missions for Revan. In particular, he's good at fighting Jedi with conventional weaponry. Just learning from HK-47 is enough to make the Exile a more effective combatant in Knights of the Old Republic II.

4 Migs Mayfeld

The Galactic Empire isn't known for the quality of its marksmen. In particular, Imperial Stormtroopers are infamous for their lack of skill. Nonetheless, their army has had at least one good shooter. The Mandalorian's Migs Mayfeld is a mercenary and former imperial sharpshooter. As he comments to Din Djarin, he's a much better shot than any stormtrooper.

Throughout The Mandalorian, Mayfeld repeteadly proves himself as an excellent marksman. Even accomplished fighters like Cara Dune and Fennec Shand appreciate his accuracy. Migs only appears in a handful of The Mandalorian episodes, but he proves his worth with a blaster in each one.

3 Aurra Sing

Aura Sing is one of the galaxy's premiere bounty hunters by the time of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She's actually a former Jedi trainee, having left the order to make a living as a hired gun. Her training and Force-sensitivity seem to help her in her current line of work. She's noted for both her skill and her ruthlessness.

Sing is able to make precision shot after precision shot, even from stealth. Many bounty hunters and scoundrels consider her somebody not to cross. Even Tobias Beckett, a noted skilled shot, doesn't try to outgun her. He instead kills her by throwing her down a great height.

2 Cad Bane

Cad Bane is one of the few bounty hunters to go up against the Jedi Order time and time again in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He even survives through the Galactic Empire to return as a villain in The Book of Boba Fett. Cad Bane is treated by apprehension by all who might fight him, and for good reason.

Cad Bane prefers to fight with a pair of blasters, rather than a single rifle. Nonetheless, he uses them to lethal effect. In addition to his great accuracy, Bane is known for his quick drawing. He's able to draw his pistols and line up shots before his opponents can fire, even if they start with the upper hand.

1 Fennec Shand

Fennec Shand is a bounty hunter, mercenary, and assassin who appears in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and The Bad Batch. In every appearance she makes, she backs up her lethal reputation. Fennec Shand is one of the most skilled characters with a blaster in all of Star Wars.

Shand is, among other things, able to throw Din Djarin from his speeder bike with a single shot from her rifle. She's even able to land sniper shots while airborne. Shand is no less lethal with shorter-range weaponry. She's able to land shot after shot on stormtroopers at close range, dropping large numbers of them in seconds.
