Gintama combines action with comedy in such a way that they complement each other. Protagonist Gintoki could break the fourth wall by complaining about Shonen Jump's current line-up one minute and whoop someone's butt with his sword the next. With a wacky cast of characters and epic battles at every turn, Gintama is one of Shonen Jump's best.
