The heroes from Universe 7 face a whole multiverse of worthy opponents in the Tournament of Power, but they first become quite familiar with Universe 6's finest. The Tournament of Destroyers is a strong opportunity to show what the Universe 6 crew can accomplish.
The most intimidating fighter from this realm is Hit, a renowned assassin with a perfect track record when it comes to his targets. Goku and Vegeta are both skeptical of Hit's strength, but he takes them both out with minimal ease thanks to his superior Time-Skip technique. Goku eventually figures out how to counter this attack, but Hit's introduction makes him seem nearly invincible.
4 Future Trunks' Sword Of Hope Cleaves Through An Immortal Enemy
Less is usually more when it comes to Future Trunks and the two extended periods where he travels through time to aid the heroes in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super are among the most exciting in the franchise. Future Trunks plays a vital role in the defeat of Goku Black and Zamasu. He even goes so far as to master the Evil Containment Wave as a last resort.
Future Trunks ascends to new heights when he channels Spirit Bomb-like energy in his signature blade. The Sword of Hope slices Fused Zamasu in half, which is more than anyone else has been able to accomplish, including Blue Vegito.
3 Arale's Gag Character Energy Overwhelms Goku & Vegeta
It's important to remember that the original Dragon Ball is much more comedic than its successors. In fact, Akira Toriyama's gag series, Doctor Slump, crosses over with Dragon Ball on several occasions. Goku and Arale's teamwork feels appropriate in Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, but their reunion in Dragon Ball Super is a much more heightened experience.
The episode feels like it's filtered through Arale's perspective, right down to her receiving her own theme song. Beerus and Universe 7 as a whole gain a dangerous target on their back due to Goku's inappropriate attitude towards Omni-King Zeno. This culminates into a suspenseful scene in the manga where the rest of the Gods of Destruction take on Beerus. No one goes all out here, but it's still impressive that Beerus is able to hold his own against so many other Gods.
1 Goku's Universe 7 Sprit Bomb On Jiren & The Ensuing Result
Goku has mastered many powerful attacks over the years, but his Spirit Bomb technique becomes his most popular means of destruction. Part of the luxury of the Spirit Bomb is that the attack's strength is dependent upon how many people donate energy.
During the Tournament of Power, Goku gathers energy from his remaining team members to summon a huge Universe 7 Spirit Bomb. Goku's release of this attack is phenomenal, but what's more impressive is what follows. Jiren is barely phased by the blow, and he reflects the Spirit Bomb back at Goku. Goku not only survives, but he transcends to Ultra Instinct Sign.
