Derry Girls Take Their Final Class in Season 3

The Derry Girls posing for a newspaper after faking a sign from God

Fans were sad to hear that Derry Girls was ending after just a third season, and it left on a bittersweet note. Now viewers who weren't able to catch the final season can watch it on Netflix on Oct. 7. Derry Girls is inspired by creator and writer Lisa McGee's own experiences in Derry, Northern Ireland in the 1990s, during the final years of The Troubles. The show follows five teenagers growing up as they attend an all-girls' Catholic school where they get into different shenanigans during political unrest and cultural divides. The series finale depicts the characters voting on the Good Friday Agreement, which ended most of the violence of the era.

Derry Girls Season 3 premieres Oct. 7.

The Midnight Club Awakens Creepy Spirits

The Midnight Club Netflix horror series

If Nailed It!'s disastrous creations weren't scary enough for viewers, then The Midnight Club is sure to give them a scare. The horror series based on the book of the same name by Christopher Pike is created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong -- the former of which is known for his horror projects Doctor Sleep, Midnight Mass and The Haunting anthology series. In The Midnight Club, seven terminally ill young adults residing in the Rotterdam House hospice tell each other scary stories at midnight every night. They make a pact that whoever dies first must communicate with the others beyond the grave. When this happens, the six remaining patients begin to experience strange occurrences, as teased in the trailer.

The Midnight Club premieres Oct. 7.

The Sinner is back with a different mystery for Harry Ambrose to solve. It's also the final season of the anthology series, but the fact that the series was originally meant to be a limited series means that it lasted much longer than intended. The fourth season will tackle Ambrose's recovery from the previous case in Season 3, but the new location he's moved to is filled with tragedy. Ambrose is recruited to help the investigation into a woman's suicide while continuing to deal with his own personal demons.

The Sinner Season 4 premieres Oct. 13.

Who Will Say "I Do" in Love Is Blind Season 3?

love is blind season 3

The third season of Netflix's hit reality dating series Love Is Blind takes place in Dallas, Texas and -- like the previous seasons -- follows 15 men and 15 women dating each other in "pods" where they can't see each other for ten days. After the speed-dating process, the engaged couples start planning their wedding while learning more about each other's lives and families. The end of the season will be the final test for each participant, in which they decide if they really want to say "I do" at the altar.

Love Is Blind Season 3 premieres Oct. 19.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities Is Beautifully Strange

Del Toro's new 2022 series, Cabinet of Curiosities

One of the most anticipated and ambitious series to premiere on Netflix this month is Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, an anthology series that will tell eight original horror stories throughout the season. Two of the episodes are written by del Toro himself with other filmmakers taking the lead on the other six. A few of the cast members in these odd and unique stories are The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln, F. Murray Abraham, Harry Potter alum Rupert Grint and Ben Barnes.

Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities premieres Oct. 25.

Big Mouth Has More Awkward Comedy in Season 6

Missy, Nick, Andrew, Jay, Matthew and Devin at school in Big Mouth

Big Mouth is one of the biggest shows on Netflix and isn't stopping anytime soon. Big Mouth follows a group of seventh graders who are experiencing the challenges of puberty and growing pains. The animated series' boldness in speaking up about puberty and sexuality is one of the highlights of the series because it's so rarely seen in television or movies. A seventh season has already been ordered by Netflix and Big Mouth's spinoff Human Resources has also been renewed for a second season, showing that the chaotic animated stories are also fan-favorites.

Big Mouth Season 6 premieres Oct. 28.
