January for Netflix saw the return of the complicated mother and daughter duo in Ginny & Georgia and free-spirited teens in That '90s Show. February is continuing the trend of complicated families and teenage adventures with the return of The Upshaws and Outer Banks, plus some other great shows along the way.

Another highly anticipated series coming to Netflix in February is You, with a fourth season that will be split into two parts. For fans who already miss On My Block after it ended in 2021, rest assured the Los Angeles town returns in the spinoff series Freeridge. Reality shows are also hitting the streaming service big this month, with The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals and Perfect Match making their Netflix debut. With these shows filling up the short month, it's hard to believe subscribers won't find anything worth watching on Netflix in February.

The Great British Baking Show may have had a controversial Season 10 after the infamous Mexican Week, but the series is still going strong. With the success of the British baking competition show comes multiple spinoffs, including The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals, which will release on Netflix in early February. Unlike the original series, The Professionals doesn't put amateur bakers in the tent, but instead professionals who have done this once or twice already. Liam Charles and Tom Allen will host The Professionals as established pastry chef teams from businesses, restaurants and top hotels compete for the title of best pâtisserie team in Britain.

The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals premieres Feb. 1.

Freeridge Takes a Mystical Turn in the Dangerous Town

On My Block was one of Netflix's most successful shows until it ended after a fourth season. The diverse cast and its storylines were praised by critics and fans, so it was only right that Netflix decided to continue the story in a spinoff series, Freeridge. Set in the same fictional town of Freeridge, the spinoff series focuses on sibling rivals Gloria and Ines, and their friends Demi and Cameron after they've unleashed a curse bringing bad luck in their lives. Unlike the original series, it sounds like Freeridge has more of a supernatural tone, following the likes of Netflix's Wednesday and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Freeridge premieres Feb. 2.

Perfect Match Combines Netflix's Most Dramatic Reality Shows

If there's a reality show that Netflix knows its subscribers love, it's dating shows. Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle and The Ultimatum all have audiences to keep their respective series going for multiple seasons on the streaming services. But whatever happened to the previous contestants? Netflix feels like asking this question too, and is bringing back a mix of past fan-favorites and villains from these shows into one show: Perfect Match.

With all the former contestants together in one tropical paradise, they'll surely create reality show drama and chaos. But there's still a game to play and rules to follow, which means the contestants will be forming relationships along the way until one is crowned the Perfect Match.

Perfect Match premieres Feb. 14.

The Upshaws: Part 3 Builds the Family Love

Despite Netflix's recent failed attempts at original sitcoms like Blockbuster, The Upshaws is still holding on and will premiere the second part to its sophomore season (aka "Part 3") this February. Created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, the series stars Sykes as a member of a working class Black family in Indianapolis. The Upshaws follows Bennie Upshaw as the head of the family, doing whatever he can to provide for them. The family includes his wife Regina, his two young daughters, firstborn son, and his teenager from a previous relationship. Additionally, he has to deal with his sardonic sister-in-law Lucretia Turner (Sykes), and the ups-and-downs of family life.

What's most endearing about this show is that it's a multi-camera sitcom filmed in front of a live studio audience. While these types of shows certainly aren't extinct in the world of television, it's rare to come across them done so well in 2023, especially on a streaming service.

The Upshaws: Part 3 premieres Feb. 16.
