These figures make all decisions concerning their respective lands, including alliance formations and setting the budget for each Hidden Village. Despite the show's many lands and multiple daimyo, some work harder to deserve their position than others.

Toki successfully avenged her family's murders by exposing Moso, Owashi's hateable-former advisor, as a double agent. With Naruto's help, Toki prevented Moso from taking over the Land of Birds. Following his defeat, she assumed the mantle of daimyo as her true self and led her people with selflessness and grace.

After learning the Wagarashi family tried killing Idate Morino, the Wasabi family's runner, the Tea daimyo forced the Wagarashi clan to disband. This sense for justice and value of fair play kept the Land of Tea at peace for years to come.

While working as an internationally acclaimed actress, she returned to the Land of Snow with Team 7 to film a movie.

There she exposed her uncle, Doto, as her father's murderer and prevented him from destroying the Land of Snow. After Naruto defeated him in battle, Koyuki used her unique knowledge as daimyo to achieve her father's ultimate dream: transforming the Land of Snow into the Land of Spring, effectively curing her land of its uninhabitability.

The Earth Daimyo exercised his considerable influence during the Five Kage Summit, which convened in order to plan for the Fourth Shinobi War. He pressured the Water Daimyo to approve the formation of the Shinobi Alliance, rebuking him for his hesitance in regard to the impending war. Without the Earth Daimyo's urgency, Madara Uchiha might've conquered the world without resistance.

During a routine inspection, the Valleys daimyo learned of Victor's connection to the Kara organization and the facility's illicit human experimentation. He employed Konohamaru and Mugino to help put an end to it, sustaining heavy damage during the process. Despite his misplaced faith, the Valleys daimyo put his life on the line for his people and succeeded in preventing their harm.

Tekkan is the daimyo to the Land of Lightning, the region that rests to the North-East of Konohagakure. Tekkan attended the Five Great Nations Summit alongside the other National Daimyo.

During their meeting, he opposed Danjo's plan for the Land of Earth to invade the Land of Flowers. He refused Danjo's justification, arguing that the Land of Flowers should remain untouched and its innocent population unharmed. Even though it lay outside his jurisdiction, Tekkan refused to bend to the whims of a tyrant and successfully averted all-out war.

The Land of Water's daimyo is Sanzui Unabara. Sitting directly to the East of Konohagakure, Sanzui's nation is composed of a series of islands. On its largest island sits Kirigakure, the Land of Water's Hidden Village. Together with the Mizukage, Sanzui governs the nation toward peace and prosperity.

Sanzui spent his time as daimyo changing Kirigakure for the better. He developed multiple power stations to lead the Land of Water into a brighter, more profitable future while also pacifying the island's surrounding waters.

3 Owashi Dedicated His Life In Service To The Land Of Birds

Before his tragic demise, Owashi was widely regarded as the single-best daimyo the Land of Birds had ever seen. His immense trust and love for his country led Owashi to travel where other daimyo wouldn't, or couldn't, go. In disguise, he would watch happily over his citizens and work to improve their conditions. He also raised his children to love the land and its people as he did, resulting in Toki becoming a benevolent daimyo to the Land of Birds following his death.

He spent most of his life building a generator strong enough to achieve this dream.

Sosetsu's goal to warm the Land of Snow's climate was ultimately achieved through this monumental effort. His benevolence and devotion to his people and land resulted in most of its citizens remaining loyal to him long after his death. After Koyuki used his generator to bring spring to the Land of Snow, Sosetsu's legacy continued as his daughter assumed the role of the Land of Spring's new daimyo.

Ikkyu Madoka is the Land of Fire's daimyo. He works alongside Konohagakure's Hokage to achieve peace and prosperity for their land. A businessman with a high regard for shinobi, Ikkyu maintains close relationships with many of Konoha's shinobi, including Shikamaru Nara and Naruto Uzumaki.

Much like Konohagakure's Seventh Hokage, Ikkyu Madoka shares a mutual interest in genuine world peace. Unlike the other daimyo from the Five Great Nations, Ikkyu prioritizes peace between all lands, not only the Land of Fire. He worked tirelessly alongside Naruto and Shikamaru to help prevent the Fifth Shinobi War and even offered up a portion of his own land to prevent the Land of Earth from invading the Land of Flowers.
