10 Captain Britain (Betsy Braddock)

Elizabeth Braddock was known as Psylocke while a member of the X-Men, but also as Captain Britain when she became a champion for the Otherworld. Braddock's father came from the extra-dimensional Otherworld, and so abilities of the Otherworld dimension passed down to her.

Not only does Betsy Braddock have powers that stem from the Otherworld, she was also healed by the Crimson Dawn which hailed from the Crimson Dawn realm. Braddock has impressive telepathic powers and continues to push the boundaries of her abilities as she taps into her Otherworld heritage.

9 Magik

First Appeared In Giant-Size X-Men Volume 1 #1 By Writer Len Wein, Penciler Dave Cockrum, Inker Peter Iro, Colorist Glynis Wein, And Letterer John Costanza.

Illyana Rasputina is a mutant sorceress and the former ruler of the demonic dimension Limbo. The younger sister of core X-Men member Colossus, Illyana chose the moniker Magik and became a member of the New Mutants.

Magik can conjure stepping discs that act as portals, allowing her to traverse interstellar distances, the multiverse, and time itself. Originally, these discs drew from her connection to Limbo, as did her powerful Soulsword. After handing the rulership of Limbo to Madelyne Pryor, Magik's Soulsword and disc draw mystic power from a new and mysterious extra-dimensional source.

8 Daimon Hellstrom

First Appeared In Ghost Rider Volume 2 #1 By Writer Gary Friedrich, Penciler Tom Sutton, Inker Syd Shores, Colorist George Roussos, And Letterer John Costanza.

Daimon Hellstrom is the Son of Satan, born to the Lord of Hell and his human mother. Often seen as an anti-hero, Daimon wishes to defeat his father because of the pain he's caused. However, Damian has also dabbled in dark magic.

Being the son of a Hell-Lord, Daimon Hellstrom became a Lord of Hell himself, drawing power from the Hell dimension. Hellstrom is considered one of the most powerful Hell-Lords in Marvel Comics, and can cause excruciating pain to any living being through contact with their life force. Daimon eventually took over Hell in order to bring balance between Hell and Heaven.

7 Cloak

First Appeared In Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man Volume 1 #64 By Writer Bill Mantlo, Penciler Ed Hannigan, Inker Jim Mooney, Colorist Bob Sharen, And Letterer Joe Rosen.

Tyrone Johnson is notably known as Cloak, and most commonly seen alongside his partner Dagger. Cloak was exposed to an experimental drug that gave him his powers and uses his cloak to hide his shadowy appearance.

The drug also transformed Cloak's body into a portal to the Darkforce Dimension. As a result, Cloak can channel said Darkforce energy. Cloak can teleport by entering the Darkforce Dimension and traveling through it, coming back out in a different space from which he left.

6 Nightcrawler

First Appeared In Giant-Size X-Men Volume 1 #1 By Writer Len Wein, Penciler Dave Cockrum, Inker Peter Iro, Colorist Glynis Wein, And Letterer John Costanza.

While his demonic appearance may intimidate others, Nightcrawler is a fun-loving and kind-hearted member of the X-Men. The child of Mystique and Azazel, the young Kurt Wagner was abandoned as a child, raised by an adopted family until Charles Xavier recruited him.

Nightcrawler's most notable ability is teleportation. Like some of his fellow X-Men, Nightcrawler's ability to teleport is linked to another dimension. In his case, Kurt enters the Brimestone dimension upon teleporting, then reemerges in his regular plane of existence, but in a different location. Because the process was so repaid, it was many years before he learned how his powers truly worked.

5 Doctor Strange

First Appeared In Strange Tales Volume 1 #110 By Writers Stan Lee And Ernie Hart, Penciler And Inker Dick Ayers, Colorist Stan Goldberg, And Letterer John Duffy.

Dr. Stephen Strange began as a brilliant neurosurgeon who lost his skills with his hands following a car accident. He sought alternative cures after modern medicine failed him, and was trained by the Ancient One to become Sorcerer Supreme.

Doctor Strange has vast magical powers, primarily stemming from the Veshanti, a group of entities who hail from an unknown realm. Strange has also called upon the power of demons like Dormammu from the Dark Dimension, and can channel the extra-dimensional energy from many beings across various other dimensions to empower his spells.

4 Hank Pym

Dr. Henry Pym, also known as Hank, was a skilled entomologist, biochemist, roboticist, engineer, and physicist. Known as one of the smartest humans on Earth, Hank Pym became the original Ant-Man through his discovery and use of Pym Particles.

Pym Particles are a rare group of subatomic particles that can make the user smaller or larger depending on their desired effect. These particles work by shunting matter into the Kosmos Dimension when shrinking, or taking matter from the same dimension when enlarging.

3 Cyclops

First Appeared In X-Men Volume 1 #1 By Writer Stan Lee, Penciler Jack Kirby, Inker Paul Reinman, And Letterer Sam Rosen.

Scott Summers, known as Cyclops, is a mutant and one of the popular members of the X-Men. Cyclops' power enables him to fire optic beams from his eyes. He can focus these blasts into precise and harmless stun beams, or he can cut loose, allowing them to wreck immense destruction.

Cyclops' eye beams come from an alternate non-Einsteinian dimension and are essentially portals from which the energy comes. This extra-dimensional source of energy is near infinite. This means Cyclops can infinitely fire his optic beams, so long as he doesn't get worn out from the mental and physical fatigue.

2 America Chavez

First Appeared In Vengeance Volume 1 #1 By Writer Joe Casey, Penciler And Inker Nick Dragotta, Colorist Brad Simpson, And Rus Wooton.

America Chavez gained her powers after experiments were conducted on her as a child, exposing her to extra-dimensional energies. She took the moniker Miss America, and has since become a member of the Young Avengers.

Born in the Utopia Parallel, America Chavez's powers stem from other dimensions, and she can channel interdimensional energies through her body. This lets her create star-shaped portals to travel through the multiverse.

1 Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff is the twin sister of Quicksilver and an incredibly powerful sorceress. Maximoff was trained by Agatha Harkness to explore her natural magical abilities, eventually becoming known as the Scarlet Witch. Wanda has used her powers to benefit the world as an Avenger, though she's also has dabbled in villainy.

As a powerful sorceress, Wanda Maximoff can draw power from other dimensional beings and objects in order to increase her own power. Maximoff can travel across dimensions and is powerful enough to face Dormammu in his own Dark Dimension.
