Marvel's female supervillains are as diverse as their male counterparts (but infinitely more fun). These villainesses have a lot of power, a ton of grit, and they stand down against their toughest adversaries like it's nothing, fighting a good fight with ease.

They are so good at being bad that you root for them, perhaps more than you should, and suddenly the antagonist becomes your hero. So, who are these villainesses? They're strong, they're tough, and they make a life of crime almost desirable.

9 Bombshell

Bombshell is a juggling and explosives expert who uses various hand grenades and smoke bombs to overwhelm her opponent, and fireblasts in her wrist bands. Her skills are solid: alongside Oddball, Bombshell was successful in handing off Hawkeye and Mockingbird to Crossfire (a task that she and Oddball were hired to fulfill). Bombshell was instrumental in disarming and disabling Mockingbird and Hawkeye. And, even though Hawkeye escaped and defeated Bombshell, Oddball, and Crossfire, she overpowered Hawkeye initially, and that's no easy feat.

Black Mamba's supernatural abilities, which are believed to have come from a brain implant,  include the power to read the minds of those around her. She can give people images in their minds that will confuse and disarm her opponent, and she can produce an energetic power cloud that allows her to pull in her victim and end them (and at that moment, her victim will believe it's someone they love beckoning them).

Superia is a gifted criminal scientist with powers that she attained herself through genetic modifications. She has superhuman strength, can fly, and is skilled at hand-to-hand combat (which she's used when facing off against Ms. Marvel). The force of her punches is so powerful that she once bloodied Skaar's mouth with one blow. And with advanced healing powers, she can take multiple hits without being out of commission. Her fists produce green energy bursts that cause explosions (as she did when she escaped from The Avengers).  And, on top of all that, she's a skilled martial artist.

5 Anaconda

Anaconda, a member of the Serpent Society (along with Black Mamba), is a villain with style. With her adamantium arms, she can crush and choke her opponents quickly. She lengthens her arms and legs for crushing and choking her victims, and when her arms and legs expand and lengthen, they swim with blood and look like massive snakes. A surgery gave her gills, and with that addition, she was given the ability to swim and breathe underwater. She's also skilled at streetfighter and has used her skills in that area when facing off against Captain America.  She's tough and doesn't give an easy fight.

2 Emma Frost

Emma Frost, also known as White Queen, is best known as the archenemy to the X-Men, for a time, before turning and becoming an important member of the X-Men. But before she was good she was bad, and that's why she's on this list. As a telepath, Emma Frost has the ability to share information from one person to another, read and control minds. She can also transform herself into an organic diamond which allows her to hold or lift exceptionally heavy loads and be insusceptible to injury. It was probably good for the X-Men that Emma Frost became an ally.
