While some fans are less-than-ecstatic when it comes to this animation studio, they have beautifully animated a lot of anime over the years. The attention they gained from it was a line between good and bad. We are going to look back on the anime J.C. Staff has animated and evaluate each one, with MyAnimeList as a guideline.

10 HIGH SCORE GIRL (2018) - 8.02

High Score Girl was written and illustrated by Rensuke Oshikiri and was released in Summer 2018. High Score Girl is unique, and that is not just talking about the 3D animation. It received two anime adaptions despite being released in 2010 because of its popularity and takes many of its inspirations from retro fighting games.

It tells the story of Haruo Yaguchi and Akira Oono bonding over their love for games as well as their growing bond throughout the series. It's a charming anime for anywho who enjoys retro video games.

9 A CERTAIN SCIENTIFIC RAILGUN S (2013) - 8.09

A Certain Scientific Railgun S was written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura. It was released in Spring 2013 to Fall 2013. A Certain Scientific Railgun is the more sci-fi focused side of A Certain Magical Index series, as well as the series people consider the more interesting protagonist, Mikoto Misaka.

A Certain Scientific Railgun S follows Misaka and her friends investigating rumors across Academy City. It also follows Mikoto trying to stop the experiments occurring within the walls, with occasional appearances from Touma and Index as they are in the same universe.

8 KAICHOU WA MAID-SAMA! (2010) - 8.12

Kaicho wa Maid-sama was written and illustrated by Hiro Fujiwara. It was released in Spring 2010 to Fall 2010. After Takumi Usui, the most popular boy in school, discovers Misaki Ayuzawa, the student council president, works at a maid cafe, he uses that opportunity to become closer to her.

This romance puts the emphasis on comedy, with there being an abundance of jokes to laugh at. It's a romance that also never gets old, which is presumably why the series has held such a high rank throughout the years and is still recommended as one of the best romances to watch.

7 KONOSUBA: GOD'S BLESSING ON THIS WONDERFUL WORLD! (2016) - 8.16

KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World was written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. It was released in Winter 2016 to Spring 2016. What happens when someone creates an isekai that isn't generic? What happens when that isekai protagonist is actually a complete piece of trash you can't help but love? KonoSuba.

Filled to the brim with a lovable cast of idiots and stacked with jokes for days, there is little wonder why this series has garnered so much fanfare. KonoSuba follows the lives of Satou Kazuma after his unfortunate death and his useless party.

6 THE PET GIRL OF SAKURASOU (2012) - 8.26

The Pet Girl of Sakurasou was written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keiji Mizoguchi. It was released in Fall 2012 to Spring 2013. After Sorata Kanda is kicked out of his dorm for keeping a cat, he stumbles upon a girl who reminds him of one, Mashiro Shiina.

Unbeknownst to him, this girl who is aloof and cannot pay attention very long is a famous manga artist. It follows the daily lives of Sorata and the rest of the cast as well as the blooming romance between him and Shiina.

5 LITTLE BUSTERS! ~ REFRAIN ~ (2013) - 8.28

Little Busters! ~ Refrain ~ was written by Key. It was released in Fall 2013 to Winter 2013. Originally a visual novel, Little Busters! Refrain was the adaption of the video game. There's no wonder the creators of tearjerkers such as Clannad and Angel Beats would create another one that would take people's hearts, as well as ratings.

It follows a group of students who are a part of the Little Busters team and play baseball to make memories. Sounds straightforward? Well, when you dig deeper into the story, you find this anime is not what it seems.

4 NODAME CANTABILE: FINALE (2010) - 8.30

Nodame Cantabile: Finale was written and illustrated by Tomoko Ninomiya. It was released in Winter 2010 to Spring 2010. Nodame Cantabile: Finale follows the lives of musicians Shinichi Chiaki and Megumi Noda as they each progress their musical careers. J.C. Staff adapted all of the manga through the years, with this being the last season, as well as the highest-rated one.

There is no wonder to the score as it concludes everything neatly, from where their careers will proceed to Shinichi and Megumi's relationship. A tight end for a good show leaves the rating sitting pretty at an 8.30.

3 FOOD WORDS! SHOUGEKI NO SOMA (2015) - 8.45

Food Wars! Shougeki no Soma was written by Yuuto Tsukuda and Yuki Morisaki and illustrated by Shun Saeki. The first season was released in Spring 2015 to Fall 2015. Are you getting hungry? Because this anime will either make you salivate for food that looks more delicious than real life's counterpart or... well, let's just say its complicated.

Like all shounen protagonist, Souma Yukihira wishes to be the very best. He hopes to surpass his father and take over his family's diner. After his father closes it down, however, he enrolls in Tootsuki Culinary Academy, where the food war begins.

2 THE DISASTROUS LIFE OF SAIKI K. (2016) - 8.51

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K was written and illustrated by Shuuichi Asou. The first season was released in Summer 2016 to Winter 2016. If you are seeking an anime with a fast-paced and quirky sense of comedy, this one is for you.

With a fresh take on supernatural comedy, as well as some of the fastest talking in all of anime, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K follows an esper who has all of the powers underneath the sun and an extremely apathetic personality. Oh, he also loves coffee jelly. All he wants to do is live a peaceful life, but the entire cast always finds a way to cause trouble.

1 BAKUMAN. 3RD SEASON (2012) - 8.63

Bakuman was written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. It was released in Fall 2012 to Spring 2013. Most are shocked to discover that Bakuman was indeed written by the same person who created Death Note because of how laidback it is compared to the former. While the first series follows Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi on their path to getting their manga published, the third season deals with them on their third serialization. Talk about development. The series also has a dash of romance for those fans out there and carefully shows them trying to stay atop the rankings. Bakuman 3 is the most highly-rated and best J.C. Staff anime of this decade, according to MyAnimeList.
