DC Comics have been around for many years now, and as such, they've become immensely popular. Besides reading comics, watching TV shows and films, or creating the fan arts of your favorite superheroes and villains, there are other ways how to get into the minds of your beloved characters, and that's via cosplay.

Every year, fans cosplaying DC characters met on conventions and can draw inspiration from each other. It's impossible to pick just ten best cosplays since there are so many of them, but if you're looking for inspiration for your DC group cosplays, these 10 group cosplays might help you design your own.

10 Justice League

If you're looking for a truly large DC group cosplay for you and your many friends, then cosplaying the Justice League is a safe bet. There are many members who have remained in the superhero team for a long time, some who only briefly worked as a part of it, and then there are those who aren't officially members of the Justice League but they still helped its heroes or fought by their side.

As such, you have so many characters to choose from that cosplaying Justice League should be easy enough but still fun. The cosplayers from the LIGA de la Justicia Club de Trajes look positively happy in this photo.

9 The Core Members

The Justice League is one of the most influential and popular superhero teams, if not the most popular ones, so it deserves more than just one spot on this list. The advantage of cosplaying the Justice League, besides its size, is that there are also multiple versions of the superheroes' costumes you can decide to use when creating your group cosplay, depending on which era of the comics you're focusing on.

Of course, no matter what the costumes look like, there are some Justice League members you should never leave out, the team's core members, such as Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman, as this cosplay posted by AmazingT shows.

8 The League Reversed

Did you always dream about cosplaying Superman or Batman but you're a woman, not a man? In that case, you have two choices. First, you can cosplay a female superhero similar to Superman or Batman, such as Supergirl, Batwoman, or Batgirl.

Or you can pick the same approach as the cosplay team Earth 11 Gender Bender Cosplay Group did and do a gender-reversed cosplay of the Justice League. In this type of cosplay, male superheroes are female superheroes and the other way around. It brings a new spin to a group cosplay done so many times before and it can look absolutely amazing.

7 Suicide Squad

Maybe you want to do a DC group cosplay but you've always preferred the darker side and you don't want to cosplay superheroes? In that case, doing a cosplay of the Suicide Squad, DC's most dangerous villain team, might be the right choice for you and your friends.

Just like the Justice League, the Suicide Squad has a larger number of members, so you can take your pick... but don't forget Harley Quinn, because, without her, the Suicide Squad wouldn't be what it is. In this photo, Damaged Goods Cosplay shows that you can cosplay your favorite heroes everywhere, including at home.

6 More Than One Villain

One villain can have a lot of fun... but two and more villains do even better. This cosplay of the Suicide Squad is perfect to the last detail and it's obvious that the cosplayers captured on camera by Jason Laboy put a lot of thought and time into their group cosplay.

The cosplay has all the important members of the Suicide Squad, such as good old Harley Quinn, the silent but deadly Katana, excellent shooter Deadshot, Killer Croc, the Enchantress, and others. It's heavily inspired by the 2016 film but still manages to put its own spin on this infamous team.

5 Third Time's The Charm

All the cosplays shown above featured a lot of people (some more than others) but even if there's just three of you, you can still create an amazing DC group cosplay together and be easily recognizable by the DC fans.

This Suicide Squad cosplay by Loka Quinn Cosplay proves that you don't need many people to create a great cosplay of your favorite heroes, or, in this case, villains. Joker and Harley Quinn are a duo that has become truly iconic, and in this cosplay, they're joined by Katana which might look like a strange choice, but there's no denying that they look amazing together.

4 Female Villains

If you're a passionate DC fan, then you probably know that the DC universe has more than one superhero group with a large number of female members. For superheroes, there are the Birds of Prey set up by Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl and her friend Black Canary.

But for villains, you need to look no further than to the Gotham City Sirens, which joins Gotham's most dangerous, beautiful, and influential female villains, such as Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and, of course, Harley Quinn. These three ladies work great together as a team in crime, as the cosplay captured by JC2 Photography proves.

3 Bat Family

You don't have to do group cosplays only with your friends and acquaintances but you can also include your family if your relatives love DC Comics and superheroes and villains as much as you do. And of all the DC families, there's no family as iconic as the Bat-family.

Yes, Batman likes to claim he prefers to work alone, but in reality, he has one of the largest families of all the DC superheroes and this cosplay posted online by ramtopsman shows that even though Batman might be strong enough on his own, he's even stronger in a team. Bonus points for including Alfred in the cosplay group, which is still rare.

2 Bat In Black

Everybody's taste in fashion is different but if you have a soft spot for the color black and want your group cosplay to show this, then you should definitely consider cosplaying the Bat-family, as the group Cantera Cosplay did.

There are many members of the family you can choose from, and they rock their costumes with style and smile (with the exception of the Batman himself, of course). It's good to see that this cosplay group decided to include even the Red Hood, a former enemy of Batman, and two Batgirls since everyone knows that two Batgirls are better than one.

1 Teen Titans

If you want to do a DC group cosplay but you and your friends are all on the younger side, in your teens maybe, then you have several choices. Either you can do a cosplay of younger versions of the older heroes, such as the Justice League, or you can choose a young superhero team from the DC universe.

The members of the group PaulomaticaCosplay went with the second option and decided to cosplay the superhero group Teen Titans which proved for once and for all that being a young superhero doesn't mean that you can't be powerful at fighting crime and defeating villains.
