For anyone who has never watched Batman Beyond, you should do yourself a favor and check it out. While it's by no means as good as Batman the Animated Series, it's one of the better Batman animations. It tells the story of an old, and often bitter, Bruce Wayne who had to hang up the cowl due to age.RELATED: 15 Best Quotes From Mark Hamill’s JokerBruce hanging it up is a story that's been done plenty, but with Terry, it's different, the entire setting of the series being more futuristic, adding in a new layer to a Batman story. While many can squabble over whether Dick, Jason, Tim, or Damian are the rightful successors, we are content in knowing it's Terry.

10 The Combo

This is one of those rare cosplays that combines styles, being one part cloth and one part that looks like hardened plastic. It's hard to tell, though it's definitely not metal. Either way, you don't often see both mixed like this, giving it a pretty unique look.

KnightofHumility does solid enough with the appearance, particularly the bat symbol blazed across his chest. It's large and sprawling across his chest as it does during the show. One critique we'd have is the mesh around his mouth is a little too noticeable, making it seem like he has a fencing mask on. Beyond that, a real solid job.

9 Beyond Arkham

This version of the costume looks like the lovechild between Batman Beyond and Arkham Knight. His armor should look futuristic and have all sorts of technology embedded into it. It looks like something you'd see in a Cyberpunk setting, something a city enforcer from a movie like Alita would wear.

The coolest part might be the spine armor that is working it's way up his back. You could just imagine the level of punishment this thing could dish out in combat. Crime would grind to a halt out of fear alone. Unfortunately, there are tons of photos of this cosplay floating around places, but none credit the maker.

8 Tactical

This is in the same vein as the photo above, being from the Arkham Knight video game. The main difference is this doesn't look nearly as futuristic, leaning more into a tactical set. It looks like something a member of SWAT would wear, more police or military-grade rather than Cyberpunkish.

In a more realistic setting, this could work great for a more militant version of Batman, granted Deathcom would need bulk up a bit more for that. We aren't sure how well it works for Terry, but it's too good of a cosplay to not show off, so it snuck its way onto our list.

7 Future Warrior

Now we are starting to talk, this being more like something Terry would wear, being more leather-based rather than some sort of armor. Love how narrowed the eyes on the cowl look, like he's tired of messing around with whatever criminal he's dealing with. Batarang in his hand showing that you aren't going to like him when he gets to that point either.

It's a really well crafted looking one too, looking perfectly like a bat flying off. Everything about it is quality, doing a great job of making tweaks here and there, but remaining true to what the character looked like.

6 Beyond

For as ridiculous as the Batman costume has looked on the big screen before, seeing in a photo this close, you could see how it would scare the daylights out of criminals who saw him in the middle of the night. The way the whole cosplay looks just screams man that can and will kick your butt if you don't tell him what he wants to know.

Kudos to Mailvirgo for managing to pull off that level of intimidation in what's a rather innocuous picture. If we ever make it to a future like Terry's, he's the guy we'd want patrolling our rooftops.

5 Batman and Batgirl Beyond

Both of these look fantastic, Max Yang representing Batman and a sadly unnamed cosplayer being Batgirl. The sheer fact that his mask can open is incredible. There's no telling how long it'd take to pull something like that off, likely taking months upon months of work. All that work was worth it because the finished product is excellent.

Beyond just the mask, the rest of it is awesome too, being a mix of both futuristic and tactical gear. Love that it looks like he has the bat glider wings to, sadly, we can't see them well with how his arms are positioned. If there were anything to critique, it's the boots, but that's a minor quibble at best.

4 Parking Garage Beatdown

No one would want to run into someone like this in a dark parking garage. Not only is Shanclaw plated up enough to not even feel a punch, but energy lights also run all along his chest plate and arms, showing that he likely packs even more of a punch than you think.

That helmet alone looks like it could bust someone's face wide open with one simple head butt. This is a Terry that's seen things no one should and is done being the nice guy, giving in a little to the darkness.

3 Wings

It's technically a Batgirl, but the suit matches what Terry wears, being more of a crossplay by Hendo Art. Her stuff, as usual, is fantastically done. Cosplay is impeccable besides the missing cowl, but that can be forgiven, as it's not always one hundred percent necessary for a Batman costume.

What we love most about it is it's the first time we get a good look at Terry's wings. They are intricate to him in the show, being how he surveys Gotham, more often than not. That pose is perfection as well.

2 Up Close And Personal

Hendo wasn't the only lady who took a stab at Terry's outfit, Maid of Might doing her own rendition. We don't get a full view of her work, only seeing from the chest up, but sometimes that's all you need to see. What's most noticeable is how much of her chest the bat symbol takes up, staying true to the character.

Thankfully it's been a tidbit that just about every cosplay on here did as well. While she lacks the cowl, she made sure to keep her hair the same color as Terry's, matching as much as she could.

1 Waiting On You

The cowl that Andrea Starchild sculpted is unreal. It contours so well to their face, making it look less like a mask and more like its part of their skin. It's truly incredible what cosplayers are able to do, continually upstaging the designs and looks that Hollywood themselves put out. This right here is easily a costume that could be in a movie if they ever made one in the Beyond universe.

It isn't just the cowl either; it's the whole shebang. The belt is noticeable but subdued, as are the blades along their forearms. Nothing about the cosplay feels like it's too much or over the top. We love the crossed arms pose as well, making it feel like he'd been waiting rather impatiently for a bad guy to show up.
