9 Kotoko And Kuro Explore Supernatural Phenomena Together

Kotoko and Kuro are from the supernatural mystery anime In/Spectre. The couple meets at the beginning of the show after Kurou breaks up with his long-term girlfriend at a local hospital.

Kotoko confesses her feelings to Kuro, and the two begin their life exploring supernatural phenomena and solving the various mysteries around them.

8 Nene And Hanako Are Humorous And Sweet Together

No one expected that a show named Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun would be so fun to watch. The show revolves around Nene, a girl who searches out a ghost named Hanako to grant her wish of finally getting a boyfriend.

7 Nasa And Tsukasa's Relationship Develops At A Healthy Pace

Crunchyroll released their first romance anime adaptation, Tokinawa, Over The Moon For You, and it was as sweet as sugar. The anime follows Nasa, who, after making a promise to marry Tsukasa during an accident, suddenly finds her at his door years later.

Tsukasa has brought marriage forms, and the two head down to make the paper's official. The anime then follows their daily lives as they adjust to being a new couple and newly married. The anime takes things slow to develop the relationship of the couple at a healthy but fulfilling pace for fans.

6 Kaguya And Miyuki Are Too Proud To Admit Their Feelings

Kaguya and Miyuki are from the hit series Kaguya-sama Love is War. The two are obviously head over heels for each other but are way too proud to be the one that confesses to the other first.

The story follows the couple as they play strategic mind games with one another to try to get them to confess first. This often ends in hilarious stalemates, though, that drive fans crazy.

5 Kazuya And Chizuru Are Shipped Withing The Show

Rent-a-Girlfriend is a series about a boy named Kazuya who gets dumped and then ends up paying for a fake date. Chizuru turns out to be his next-door neighbor, though, and way too good at her job.

This complicates things as Chizuru agrees to visit Kazuya's grandma in the hospital, and the two soon learn that their grandmas are close friends and want them to get married.

4 Haru And Legosi Explore A Star-Crossed Relationship

Beastars is a Netflix anime that introduces anime fans to a world of anthropomorphic animals with a complex society. In the anime, Haru, a bunny, and Legosi, a wolf, meet each other and end up falling in love.

The anime explores the social issues that come with having carnivores and their prey living together, as well as the issues that they cause for the pair's star-crossed relationship.

3 Tohru And Kyo Have A Complex Dynamic

The second season of Fruits Basket finally shed some light on the series' darker tones. Yuki reveals that he sees Tohru as more of a mom, while Kyo and Tohru finally start spending more time together.

The show finally shows Kyo turning Kagura down and Tohru resolving to break the curse and ultimately save Kyo from being imprisoned after graduating high school.

2 Retsuko And Haida Turn A Running Gag Into A Relationship

Aggretsuko became a popular anime with adults who know all too well the frustration of bad work environments. This season focuses on Haida as he navigates a new relationship with Inu and ponders giving up on Retsuko.

The show shows Haida as he gets more involved in Retsuko's life and eventually saves her life after a crazed OTM Girls attempts to kill her. This surprised fans as the two had seemed more like a running gag in previous seasons than a real couple.

1 Subaru And Emilia's Feelings For Each Other Become Real

Re: Zero is an extremely popular isekai that was well-known by fans love for Rem. The second season of the show finally launched and focused on Emilia and Subaru as Rem has now fallen comatose.

Emilia really begins to shine through, and the feelings the pair share towards each other become more real, instead of just feeling like a fantasy that Subaru made up in his head.
