Berserk Comes Out Swinging With New Game Trailer, Title

Koei Tecmo has released a new trailer announcing the full English title for the video game based on the popular manga and anime "Berserk": "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk."

Released at the Tokyo Game Show, the trailer also showcases game footage, as well as a rundown of playable characters, including Guts, Zodd, Casca, Griffith, Judeau, Schierke and Serpico,

Developed by Omega Force, the studio behind the hit “Warriors” series and the new “Attack on Titan” game, "Berserk and the Band of the Hawk" is billed as “the most evil ‘Musou’ in history.” The game will debut Oct. 27 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita before making its way to North America on Feb. 21 and Europe on Feb. 24.

The game is based on Kentaro Miura's long-running dark fantasy and subsequent anime, which center on the lone mercenary Guts and Griffith, the leader of the group of mercenaries known as the Band of the Hawk.
