Although the solicitation text for the issue promises the return, it may take seeing Ryan Stegman's just-released cover for "Scarlet Spider" #21 to fully register that Ben Reilly does indeed appear to be coming back from the grave.

The "Superior Spider-Man" artist posted his cover online late Monday, and fans soon took notice. The art depicts a clash between current Scarlet Spider Kaine and what appears to be Peter Parker's other clone, Reilly, in a sleeveless hoody version of the classic Scarlet Spider torn sweatshirt outfit. Sharp-eyed fans have been quick to point out that it also appears to depict the returning character shooting impact webbing, a specialized derivation of Spider-Man's classic webbing developed and used by Reilly.
