Following the announcement last week that "Secret Wars" #9 will now arrive in stores on January 13th, Marvel Comics has revealed the issue's variant covers that will arrive along with its release. The variants include new covers by Simone Bianchi, Sara Pichelli, Skottie Young and John Tyler Christopher.
Hickman Sets the Stage for "Secret Wars'" Finale
Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort reassured fans that "Secret Wars" #9 is on track to meet its Jan. 13 release date. "Marvel fans can rest easy knowing that at long last 'Secret Wars' #9 is off to the printer, and will be in their hot little hands January 13th," said Marvel SVP, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort in Marvel's announcement. The finale's release date was recently bumped back one week from Jan. 6 to Jan. 13; after moving from its original date of Dec. 23. "Secret Wars" was originally supposed to wrap with issue #8, which was initially solicited for October and released last Wednesday, Dec. 9.
