After amassing $1 billion at the worldwide box office, Disney's live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast has at last drawn the attention of Honest Trailers.

In this version of the blockbuster's trailer, the relationship between Belle and the Beast is liked to that of Hermione and Ron from Harry Potter. It also highlights the small tidbits that weren't part of the animated classic, such as  the plague and all of that wandering around in the forest. Surprisingly, outside of calling the film a money-hungry rehash, the honest trailer isn't as rough as some of the others produced by Screen Junkies (such as the recent one for Catwoman, which tore the film to shreds).

Beauty and the Beast is a remake of Disney's 1991 blockbuster, and continues the studio's success in revisiting its animated classics in live-action form. Thus far, the studio has successfully adapted the likes of Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book. Up next are Mulan and Aladdin, which have secured directors in Niki Caro and Guy Ritchie, respectively.

Over its theatrical run, the film has managed to surpass $500 million domestically at the box office, an impressive feat that most films would be lucky to cross. Beauty and the Beast is available on Blu-ray and DVD now.
