BB-8 may have won over the hearts of audiences just through his appearances in trailers and TV spots for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," but there's at least one mind that does not know what to make of the rolling droid. That mind belongs to Gary Fisher, Carrie Fisher's French bulldog that has accompanied General Leia for the duration of the "Force Awakens" press tour.

The two most adorable members of the "Star Wars" family first met on stage during a photo op. As the gathered cast and crew (including Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Mark Hamill, Fisher, Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and more) stood on stage, Gary cut loose on the mysterious ball-shaped droid -- much to the delight of the cast.

Despite always being by Fisher's side, Gary has yet to score an official role in a "Star Wars" movie. Could this be the Vine that leads to Gary becoming BB-8's onscreen nemesis?

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens on December 18.
