Feast your eyes on the new Optimus Prime! Well, his vehicle mode, at least. Transformers 4 director Michael Bay unveiled the above image last night on his blog, accompanied by just one sentence of commentary: "The completely upgraded, custom-built Optimus Prime from Western Star (a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America)."

He also showed off a pair of very expensive vehicles that will be featured as well. Below you can see the $2.4 million Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse (the blue one) and the 2014 Chevrolet production model of the C7 Corvette Stingray (the green one). Neither car was matched to a particular character, though we know from Bay's previous statements that this latest film will include new Autobots and Decepticons. However, as Collider's Dave Trumbore pointed out, Sideswipe's earlier incarnations were built around the Stingray.

Some new Autobot looks aren't the only news coming out of the Transformers 4 camp, however. According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedian T.J. Miller (How to Train Your Dragon, She's Out of My League) has joined the cast of the Paramount Pictures film. He'll play star Mark Wahlberg's friend and fellow mechanic.

Transformers 4, which is shooting right now, also stars Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Li Bingbing and Sophia Myles. It opens June 27, 2014.
