Batwoman alum Dougray Scott fired back at Ruby Rose's allegations that he abused women on the set of the CW show.

"As Warner Bros. Television has stated, they decided not to exercise the option to engage Ruby for season two of ‘Batwoman’ based on multiple complaints about her workplace behaviour," Scott told TheWrap. "I absolutely and completely refute the defamatory and damaging claims made against me by her; they are entirely made up and never happened."

This comes just one day after Rose called out not only Scott but Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries, former Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman Peter Roth and Bertalnti Proudctions' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter for her treatment during Season 1 of Batwoman. "Dougray hurt a female stunt double he yelled like a little bitch at women and was a nightmare," Rose claimed. "He left when he wanted and arrived when he wanted he abused women and in turn as a lead of a show i sent an email out asking for a no yelling policy, they declined.."

Shortly after Rose's comments, Warner Bros. Television Group issued a statement of its own, saying, "Despite the revisionist history that Ruby Rose is now sharing online aimed at the producers, the cast and crew, the network, and the Studio, the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for season two of BATWOMAN based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned."

Scott has since exited Batwoman, having played the father to Rose's Kate Kane for two seasons. "Having Dougray Scott as Jacob Kane on Batwoman was incredibly special for all of us," Dries said when Scott's departure was announced. "An actor with his pedigree and reputation elevates any project, and he had great chemistry with his castmates. We loved telling Commander Kane's story for the last two seasons, and we will always leave the door open to have him return. We wish him the very best!"

The veracity of Rose's allegations has been called into question by a number of people who claim to have worked on Season 1 of Batwoman, specifically on a viral Reddit post featuring CBR's coverage of Rose's account. Conversely, a number of commenters who claim to have worked on other CW productions are attesting to the poor working conditions Rose described.
