With the premiere of Batwoman looming ever closer, a new teaser shows off Kate Kane's romantic side with a proper introduction to her girlfriend Sophie Moore. While Sophie was featured in the first trailer for the series, this teaser puts her relationship with Kate front and center.

The teaser begins with the show's premiere date, which appears over Gotham City. Kate is seen discussing Sophie's feelings for her, followed by a flashback of them in their military school days in a more passionate moment. Kate then receives a phone call from her stepsister Mary Hamilton, who bears bad news: Sophie is missing.

The rest of the teaser shows Kate taking on Sophie's captors as her vigilante alter ego. The teaser ends with Kate and Sophie staring at one another after the former rescues the latter from falling to her death. "True love is worth saving," the teaser declares.

Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Bertlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 6 and air on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT.
