Batwoman Stylized Trailer Breaks Down Season 1's Conflict

As Batwoman prepares to join the rest of The CW's Arrowverse, a stylized trailer examines the battle ahead for Kate Kane when her series debuts next month.

The trailer opens with narration from Kate explaining that, when Batman disappeared from Gotham City three years prior, it divided the city. Alice takes over as narrator following Jacob Kane discussing his security firm, Crows Private Security, and she reveals that she wants to take power.

As the trailer continues, Kate tells Luke Fox to fix the Batsuit, which is followed by Alice mockingly asking someone if they feel safe. Kate then tells Luke she's doing what the Crows can't. Towards the end, images of Sophie Moore appear just as Kate narrates that, while some see Batwoman as a symbol of fear and others hope, she sees her other identity as the freedom to be herself and play by her own rules. The trailer concludes with images of Kate as Batwoman just before the show's title card appears.

Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Bertlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 6 and air on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT.
