Season 2 of Batwoman will be going through some changes as Ryan Wilder takes the mantle, and there are more changes to come. It's been reported that Zsasz, one of Gotham's deadliest hitmen, could be showing up in Gotham City, which means there will be blood.

Daniel Richtman revealed on his Patreon that Batwoman is currently seeking an actor to play Jacob Zsasz, who could either be a family member of the iconic Victor Zsasz from the pages of DC or a new take on the villain.

Based on Jacob Zsasz's description and methods, the similarities don’t end at their shared last names. Jacob is described as skilled, charismatic and carves tally marks onto his skin—a habit that the original Zsasz was known for. He will even have a buzzcut, just like the comic book character. [JACOB ZSASZ]

Male, Mid 20s-Late 30s, Open Ethnicity, Skilled Hitman. Charismatic. Think Jason Statham. Someone with high, unpredictable energy. Proudly carves tally marks onto skin for every victim he kills. Must be willing to buzzcut hair or go bald/shave head. GUEST STAR

In the comics, Victor Zsasz poses a deadly threat to Batman and his allies with an unending thirst for violence. He’s different than many of his fellow rogues in that his driving motivation is usually murder, not grand schemes of taking over Gotham.
