A new poster for Batwoman gives us a look at Alice, the first major villain Batwoman/Kate Kane will face in Season 1 of The CW series.

In the poster released by the official Batwoman Twitter account, Alice, who is played by Rachel Skarsten, can be seen wearing a white jacket with a sly smile on her face. A spray-painted Batwoman logo sits just below Alice, and the premiere date can be seen at the bottom.

It was previously announced that Batwoman would be facing off against Alice and the Wonderland Gang in Season 1, with Skarsten herself saying Alice would be the main antagonist.

The character of Alice made her first appearance in Detective Comics #854. She was created by Greg Rucka and J.H. Williams as an eccentric and violent foe for Batwoman. It is later revealed that Alice is actually named Beth, and is the identical twin sister of Kate Kane, who was once thought to be deceased.

This won't be Skarsten's first role in a DC Comics-related series, as she appeared as Dinah Lance in the Birds of Prey series, which ran on The WB from 2002-2003. The actress has also appeared in ReignWynonna Earp and Imposters.
