The latest promo for Batwoman hints that the upcoming Arrowverse series may be the creepiest one yet by putting the focus on Kate Kane and her unhinged nemesis Alice.

The trailer sees Kate enter a creepy, dilapidated room filled with doll heads and various beakers and glasses. As she makes her way through it, she is taunted by Alice, who weaves in and out of the background.

"We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad," Alice hisses before vanishing entirely, as Gotham City's protector confronts her own inner darkness and sanity in the spooky setting.

First appearing in last year's Arrowverse crossover "Elseworlds," Batwoman was greenlit as the latest DCTV series to join the shared television universe earlier this year. With Bruce Wayne and Batman missing for the past three years, his cousin Kate has stepped up to defend the city as Batwoman.

Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Bertlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 6 and air on Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT.
