Agent Carter alum Bridget Regan has been cast as Poison Ivy in Season 3 of Batwoman.

Entertainment Weekly had the character description for Batwoman's Poison Ivy, aka Pamela Isley, who "was a passionate, brilliant scientist with a mind for changing the world for the better. But her plans shifted when she was experimented on by a colleague, injected with various plant toxins which turned her into the infamous Batman villain Poison Ivy. With a formidable power coursing through her veins, Pamela used her powers to do what she thought was right… even if Batman and those closest to her disagreed with her dangerous methods. Now effectively wiped off the board for years, Batwoman and the Bat Team must prepare themselves for Poison Ivy to return with a vengeance. "

Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries dropped a clue that Poison Ivy was heading to The CW series a few days earlier when she tweeted, "Just got some casting news that would make some shows green with envy..." Dries ended her post with an emoji of a twig with green leaves on it. The finale of Season 2 planted the seeds for Poison Ivy's arrival, as various trophies collected in the Batcave were set loose on Gotham City, including vines representing the environmental villain.

Other new additions to Batwoman Season 3 include Robin Givens as Jada JetGotham actor Victoria Cartagena portraying Renee Montoya again, and Nick Creegan portraying Marquis Jet.

Batwoman returns Wednesday, Oct. 13 on The CW.
