Batwoman returns to Gotham City after the Crisis only to find her hometown facing a supernatural evil in a new promo for the hit Arrowverse series.
The CW has released a promo of the series' ninth episode, titled "How Queer Everything Is Today," showing Alice continuing her rampage through the city. To her surprise, the vampiric Nocturna arrives to sink her fangs into new prey, with Alice apparently crossing paths with the true creature of the night.
Created by Doug Moench and Gene Colan in 1983's Batman #363, Nocturna was an astronomer who was caught in a freak accident resulting in her rising as a vampire, complete with an aversion to sunlight, thirst for blood and powers of hypnosis.
Outside of the Arrowverse crossovers, Kate Kane has mainly confronted street-level threats while defending Gotham. Nocturna's surprise arrival marks a new level of danger for Gotham's new Caped Crusader as she returns to a reborn DCTV multiverse.
Created by Caroline Dries and developed by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
