As Batwoman prepares for its eagerly anticipated premiere, a new promo shows Gotham City's new defender against two familiar foes.

A sneak peek released by The CW introduces the new Arrowverse series' extensive supporting cast as Kate Kane battles against various villains. Among the antagonists seen throughout the action are the recently revealed Magpie (Rachel Matthews) and Tommy Elliot (Gabriel Mann), the latter of which better known as the comic book villain Hush.

Magpie is briefly shown fleeing the scene in what appears to be a museum, while Elliot is seen confronting Kate, with both socialites in their respective civilian personas.

However, the major threat in the promo is Alice, leading her masked Wonderland Gang to terrorize Gotham, menacing a trio of hostages with a pair of nasty-looking shears while Batwoman battles her henchmen in an alley. With Batman missing, Batwoman is all that stands to defend Gotham from these assembled foes.
