Batwoman Disappoints One of Batman's Villains in Latest Promo

Ruby Rose as Batwoman

Kate Kane continues to settle into her role as Gotham City's protector, and a new promo for Batwoman showcases her relationship with her extensive supporting cast.

The promo sees Luke Fox remind Kate that the entire city stands behind her while her ex-girlfriend Sophie combats with lingering jealousy over her return. In the promo's final moments, Batwoman confronts Thomas Elliot -- better known as the classic Batman villain Hush -- who remarks that the new crimefighter isn't Batman as he holds her at gunpoint.

"That's the point," Kate retorts as the battle for Gotham's soul continues.

The series premiere revealed that Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne both mysteriously disappeared three years earlier. As the fearsome Alice and her Wonderland Gang began terrorizing the city in his absence, Bruce's cousin Kate donned the mantle of Batwoman to protect Gotham, with her own set of allies.
