Kate Kane has finally taken to the rooftops of Gotham City in The CW's latest superhero drama series Batwoman. However, Kate is far from the full-fledged hero we saw operating in last year's Arrowverse crossover "Elseworlds." In the Ruby Rose-starring series, the character is only just learning the ropes of crime-fighting, and that includes discovering the abilities that come with Batman's suit.
Following the conclusion of the series' pilot, The CW has released a promo for the second episode of Batwoman, titled "The Rabbit Hole."
In the trailer, Kate continues her mission to save Gotham from Alice and the Wonderland gang as the city's latest costumed hero. Taking Bruce Wayne's modified costume out for another patrol, Kate gets shot and quickly realizes that, among other things, her suit is bulletproof, of course.
In the pilot, Lucius Fox modified Bruce's Batman suit so that Kate could wear it. For the time being, the costume doesn't have Batwoman's signature red wig yet -- something we know is coming eventually.
Written by Caroline Dries and developed by Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, Batwoman stars Ruby Rose, Rachel Skarsten, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Dougray Scott, Elizabeth Anweis and Nicole Kang. The series airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
