A leaked toy from the Godzilla vs. Kong toy line has revealed a weapon utilized by the film's primate star.
Godzilla-Movie revealed the action figure, dubbed Kong With Battle-Axe. The battle-axe has a dark grey handle and the head of the axe is made of a jagged blue object. Meanwhile, the Kong action figure has a Battle Damage Reveal feature. This gives Kong removable parts of his skin that can make him look more injured.
This is not the first time leaked images from the Godzilla vs. Kong toyline have revealed new details from the movie. Previous reveals from this toy line include the presence of a new kaiju named Nozuki and as well as two variations of Godzilla (including one with some sort of red headdress that runs down his spine).
Godzilla vs. Kong was originally slated for a March 13 release. In November 2019, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures bumped the release back eight months to Nov. 20. In the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, however, Godzilla vs. Kong was once again delayed, this time to May 21.
Directed by Adam Wingard, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Kyle Chandler, Julian Dennison and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters May 21.
