We've seen Shelf Porn collections that focused on creators like Moebius and characters like Thor recently, but this one may be a first. "My collection might be a bit different than everyone else's as the main focus is not a character or book, but a vehicle!" said Todd, who runs the Batmobile Collector website and shares his collection of Batman's famous vehicle with us today.

My collection might be a bit different than everyone else's as the main focus is not a character or book, but a vehicle!

I have collected the batmobile in all its different renditions for over 30 years. At this moment I have 635 unique Batmobiles, some loose, some boxed, some mint, many played with.

I don't discriminate (other than by size--to big to display is to big for my house), so I have artwork, clothing, toys, coins, paper goods etc etc.

I have been asked why the Batmobile? I think its the power and mystery of the car, something we all want to own.

My website, www.batmobilecollector.com, has been looked at by the people at Guinness and I do believe I have the largest collection of batmobiles in Canada and quite possibly the world. Daily I get emails from people wanting information on a particular car they own and I readily give them all the information that I can.

There are a few other items in my collection (I am Canadian) so there are Alpha Flight pieces, Legion of Super Hero items, and horror autographs that I have collected.
