Batman/Superman, Arrow, The Walking Dead: September 17th Comic Reel

Ben Affleck appeared on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" last night, discussing his recent casting as Batman in Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" sequel.

"They called me up and said, 'Do you wanna do this?'" Affleck told Fallon. "And I thought, 'Well, I'm not 25, man. Are you sure about this?' And they said, 'Come down, we want to show you what we're doing,' and it was incredible. [...] Zack Snyder's directing it. He has this incredible take on it that's like -- obviously you can't do what Chris [Nolan] and Christian [Bale] did, those movies are amazing. And so he wants to do something different but still in keeping with that. [...] I thought, this is a brilliant way to do this, and I really know how to hook into this."

A set of promotional posters has been released for the CW's "Arrow," depicting the male stars of the drama without their shirts. Check out the abs of Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Colton Haynes and Manu Bennett below.

Meanwhile, the first look at Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger has surfaced, giving viewers a close look at what to expect from the Suicide Squad member's appearance later this season.

"Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told TV Guide. "His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master...they've all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character. ... If you're a fan of the character from the comics, you are going to really happy with his 'Arrow'-fication."

Season two debuts October 9 on the CW

The cast of survivors continues to grow in AMC's "The Walking Dead," as the network has announced "Twilight" actress Chrstian Serratos has been cast as Rosita, a character that appeared in issue #53 of the long-running Image Comics series. Rosita originally made her debut alongside characters Abraham Ford and Eugene Porter, but no announcements have been made as to whether the two characters will appear in the show.

Season four debuts October 13 on AMC

IGN spoke with "Iron Man 3" director Shane Black about his upcoming adaptation of "Doc Savage" and his mission statement when it comes to the film.

"In the books, there's an element of goody-goody that we like. Doc Savage was the basis, essentially, for Superman because his name is Clark, he has a fortress of solitude and Superman has the same thing," Black told IGN. "But that kind of perfect hero that never makes mistakes is good to a point, and the type of adventure and the pulp it represents has been so imitated -- 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' is essentially a child of Doc Savage. But we needed something more. We kept it in the '30s, we beefed up the rationale behind what it would take to be a perfect person and to be trained as such from childhood and how that would scar someone and what it would take to be a parent who was capable of inflicting that on your kid. But beyond that, we've tried to be true to the series; give him the helpers -- reinvigorating it, but introducing a whole new brand of people to this is a challenge. It's been around for 75 years and I've read all of them."

Speaking of "Iron Man 3," IGN also spoke with "Iron Man 3" writer Drew Pearce about his upcoming work on "Mission: Impossible 5" and what to expect from the upcoming sequel.

"The challenge is pretty clear -- you have to be better than the four that came before you, and they've already used a bunch of ideas that are probably good for a 'Mission: Impossible' movie. That's also kind of exciting because you learn from those four and I think definitely as far as I'm concerned and Chris McQuarrie -- who's directing it -- and Tom [Cruise], who's involved as is J.J. [Abrams], there's a big brain trust on this and I think elements of the first mission, the gang in the first mission, if you look back now, it's an incredible array of actors. The way it refreshed was really good. I think 'Ghost Protocol' just nailed tone."
