Zoë Kravitz has confirmed filming is underway for her role as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, in Matt Reeves' The Batman, and offered fans an insight into what they can expect from the character.

Speaking on The Ellen Show, Kravitz revealed her performance as Catwoman will involve a lot of stunts. "I've been training a ton too, which has been great and hard," she said. When pressed on how physical the role is, Kravitz reiterated, "[It's] very physical, I come home just limping every day, it's actually pathetic."

Of course, one of Catwoman's most memorable features is her outfit. When asked if she'd already been for a costume fitting, Kravitz said, "We've had many, it's going really well, it's very exciting."

Over the years, everyone from Eartha Kitt to Halle Berry has played Catwoman. Kravitz also recalled meeting Michelle Pfeiffer at the Golden Globes and "bowing to the queen" in reference to Pfeiffer's turn as Kyle in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. More recently, Anne Hathaway represented a modern version of Catwoman in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.

Although Kravitz has already debuted her shorter Catwoman haircut, there's been no hint of Catwoman's wardrobe choices. However, with The Batman's first set photos making their way online, it shouldn't be too long until Warner Bros. gives a tease of what she'll be wearing as the legendary Ms. Kyle.
