Batman will have no time to rest after the events of The Joker War. The synopsis for Batman #101 sees the Dark Knight dueling with none other than WILDCats' resident gunslinger Grifter. James Tynion IV and Guillem March will bring the duo's battle to life this October; several artists, including Jorge Jimenez, will contribute Grifter-themed variant covers.

The metahuman mercenary will apparently be working for Batman's ally Lucius Fox. What causes Batman and Grifter to butt heads, and why Grifter will work for Fox, remains to be seen. This also marks the first time since the New 52 that a Wildstorm character will appear in the DC Universe proper.
