Sean Gordon Murphy, who is handling art and writing duties on Batman: White Knight, will introduce a brand new character in February's fifth issue of the alternate-reality miniseries that switches the dynamic between the Dark Knight and the Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker.

Murphy shared a cover to the series' February issue with the caption, "Cover to Batman: White Knight. She's a new character revealed in two weeks in issue #3, and I was hoping this image wouldn't be released yet because *spoilers* But, that's how publishing goes."

Though Murphy was disappointed the new character was spoiled two weeks ahead of the third issue's release date, fans of the series will no doubt be excited to pick the issue up to learn more about her. One has to wonder if this is possibly another version of Harley Quinn, after the "original" made her debut in Batman: White Knight #2. The mystery woman does have three familiar diamonds on the back of her biker jacket, which matches the diamonds found on Harley's clothing.

Batman: White Knight imagines a world in which the Joker has reformed. Of course, Batman doesn’t believe his old nemesis’ story about being cured and, as Joker (who now goes by the name Jack Napier) becomes a voice for the abused lower class of Gotham, the Dark Knight becomes increasingly convinced he’s up to something.

Batman: White Knight #5 arrives Feb. 7 from DC Comics. Written and illustrated by Sean Murphy, the series was recently extended from seven issues to eight.
