DC's dark poster boy Batman is one of the most well-known superheroes to have ever blessed the pages of a paperback comic book. He keeps the city of Gotham, and sometimes the entire world, safe on a constant basis. However, being the Dark Knight is only half the job for billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne.

This man puts so much money behind being Batman that it's crazy. But when he's not spending money on his little hobby what exactly is he buying? This list will give a bit of insight on that as well as expose the weirdest things that Bruce Wayne has ever bought.

10 A WHEEL OF BATMOBILES

Batman is a man that subscribes to the belief of never being too prepared and that is mirrored by many of his weirdest purchases. It is also reflected in the rather large amount of Batmobiles he's owned throughout the years.

Where exactly does he store those mobiles? How does he keep them in good condition without driving them all every once in a while? Enter: The Batmobile Wheel, a contraption that can best be described as a literal giant rotating closet. However, instead of clothes, this bad boy is stocked to the brim with dozens of Batmobiles.

9 A MOBILE BATCAVE

Speaking of wanting to be prepared for every situation. Batman apparently feels that it's necessary to be able to bring his entire base of operations with him on a mission from time to time, well at least he felt like this during his silver age.

In the goofy 1950s era of Batman, Bruce Wayne decides to fund a literal flying Batcave in order to track down a group of thugs. Really makes one wonder just how crazy you have to be to actually fund something like that.

8 AN ENTIRE HOTEL ON A WHIM

Now, it isn't really anything special for a billionaire to decide to purchase a hotel. It's a relatively free source of income if they have the amount of money to sustain it. However, things are never that simple when the money used comes from the pockets of a man that goes out dressed as a bat.

In the film Batman Begins, Bruce walks into a party with two dates who end up swimming in one of the fountains. After being told they weren't allowed to swim there guess what he does? Buys the entire hotel on the spot, that's what!

7 A RECORD COMPANY

Bruce Wayne is a man of many talents with a multitude of complex sides to the man behind the mask. Apparently this includes having a great love for music and pop culture from time to time because in one of the old 1970s Batman issues the not-so Dark Knight decides to throw in the funds to create his own record company.

This label known as Eden Records has definitely played a factor in his escapades especially after who he signed on to it.

6 THE BEATLES

After Bats created his own record label it's obvious that he's going to want a good amount of profit to make it worth it. He is a businessman after all. This means that Bruce isn't going to settle for anything but the most profitable group to sign on to his music brand.

This leads him to sign on the popular music group, The Beatles, or at least the DC comics universe's equivalent to the group in a yellow- wait no, PINK submarine.

5 A BAT ARMY

"Batman Year One" is one of the quintessential issues that fans of the character recommend as reading to get introduced to him. This story includes some very important basics of the Batman mythos as well as his first real gig as the Dark Knight where he was even up against law enforcement.

It also contains one of his weirdest purchases, as we see Batman use a funded sonic signal machine to unleash a cloud of bats to unleash chaos on the cops chasing him while he makes his escape.

4 SPACESHIPS

When this man says he's prepared for anything he really means it. Batman has been seen throughout the years multiple times taking, not to the skies, but to the literal stars when the occasion calls for it. This means that he's shelled out the funds for a multitude of spaceships.

Missions with the Green Lantern, missions to battle extraterrestrials. Name the space mission and apparently Batman will be there.

3 THE TITANS TOWER

Hopefully, no one believes that the Teen Titan's leader no matter which Robin it is, is the one that dropped the cash to build the tower. It's pretty darn obvious that his rich dad is the one that decided to get the young superhero team's base of operations built.

This may not seem like that weird of a purchase due to the reasoning for it but think of it like this. It's literally a clubhouse for a group of teenagers with over five stories.

2 THE DAILY PLANET

One time Bruce Wayne was sitting around and simply thought, "It might be fun to own a newspaper company." So what does he do following this thought? The guy goes out and literally buys a newspaper company just because. Oh, and of course the company he bought just so happens to be the one his buddy Superman's alter-ego, Clark Kent is working at.

When he was asked why he bought the company, guess what he responded with? "I just thought it would be fun to run a newspaper!"

1 MULTIPLE COMPUTERS MADE LITERALLY TO TROLL

In his offtime apparently Batman takes to internet forums with the intent to stirrup trouble. He's been seen in the 2011 series Batman Incorporated with two computers conversating with himself in an unnamed internet forum. The topic? Whether Bruce Wayne is Batman or not. With one side of him saying that he's Batman and the other disagreeing.

Why is Batman putting time into something like this? Because he says if someone is pointing it out and arguing about it then it's likely that more people will rule out that conclusion. What a genius.
