Marvel Executive Vice President and Creative Director Joe Quesada keeps his hand in as an artist, recently offering a new depiction for the age-old argument: who wins, Batman or Captain America?Quesada tweeted a pencil sketch "in honor of tonight's @Drink_and_Draw" that he says he did several years ago. The image depicts Batman awkwardly leaning backward to evade a left cross from a leaping Captain America.

The Original Drink and Draw Social Club invites artists of any skill level to make sketches, hang out and enjoy conversation and drinks, with comics professionals providing their thoughts on a weekly livestream.

The popular fan matchup has officially appeared in print a few times. The 1996 Elseworlds Batman & Captain America, written and drawn by John Byrne, featured the two teaming up to defeat The Joker and Red Skull during World War II. Also in 1996, the DC Versus Marvel/Marvel Versus DC intercompany crossover featured Batman in an uneasy win that was ordained by fan votes. Finally, in the 2003 JLA/Avengers crossover, the two spar to a draw. Batman then abruptly calls it off, concedes that Captain America would win and proposes they skip the fight and go after the true villain.
