The Dark Knight and the Tomorrow Knight will finally meet in the upcoming Batman Beyond #48, thanks to none other than Booster Gold. Unfortunately, it won't be a peaceful encounter, as one of the covers for the issue shows Batman and Batman Beyond fighting one another.
As expounded in DC's October solicitations, Bruce Wayne will try to kill Batman Beyond, as something is "very, very wrong" with the original Caped Crusader. The only hope available is Booster, who will take Batman Beyond on a trip through time back to "the Gotham of old," during the days when Bruce still wore the cape and cowl of the original Batman.
