DC and Marvel Comics have always had a long-running feud amongst the general comics-going audience. There are a lot of similarities between their heroes and villains, with none being more similar than Batman and Iron Man.

Each of these heroes comes with their own group of rag-tag villains that always try to be a thorn in the side of our heroes. These billionaires turned superheroes share a lot in common: family tragedy, money-fueled super tech, zany villains, and so on. If roles were reversed, Iron Man would have his plate full with these Batman villains.

10 Lost To: Bane's Strength Would Be Too Much For Iron Man

Bane Charging With Venom

There are quite a few Batman villains that truly are a devastating force of nature. No doubt that Iron Man has had his fill of strength fueled enemies, but none quite as dangerous AND smart as Bane.

Being gifted as a strategic genius, Bane also uses the drug Venom to increase his physical strength, reaching superhuman standards of strength, speed, and reflexes. Known as, "The Man Who Broke the Bat," he would also add, "The Monster Who Eroded the Iron Man," to his list.

9 Could Beat: Iron Man Would Incinerate Poison Ivy's Plants

Poison Ivy Wrapped Up With Batman

Tony Stark has had his fair share of run-ins with dangerous females, super or otherwise. Poison Ivy is a well-known villain of the Bat, and quite the dangerous one to boot. The ability to control and manipulate all plant life is quite the feat but would pale in comparison to the firepower that Tony's suit has.

After one onslaught from Iron Man's litany of weapons, there would be nothing left for Poison Ivy to manipulate, leaving her one Omni-beam away from defeat.

8 Lose To: Iron Man Is No Match For Deathstroke's Brutal Aggression

Close Up Of Deathstroke

Military enhancements are a common way for someone to gain superhuman abilities. Slade Wilson, or more commonly known as Deathstroke the Terminator, has strength, speed, intellect, and reflexes that rival Batman's.

Many times in his career, Deathstroke has fought Batman to a complete standstill, which is a feat few have been able to accomplish. Deathstroke is one of the greatest assassins in the DC Universe and would undoubtedly be able to find a way to take down Iron Man.

7 Could Beat: Iron Man Would Make Cat Food Out Of Catman

Catman Bleeding Against A Wall

Animal-based supervillains are an easy trope to come by. In the DC Universe, we have formidable names like Catwoman, Cheetah, and Killer Croc, but then, there is Catman.

Thomas Blake was a world-famous jungle cat trapper that turned to a life of crime after growing bored with his hunting ways. He wears a catsuit made of ancient African cloth that he thinks gives him nine lives. Nine lives or not, this cat isn't super enough to take down the Invincible Iron Man.

6 Lose To: The Immortal Ra's Al Ghul Could Take Out Iron Man

Ra's Al Ghul With His Sword

Ra's al Ghul is a name that is synonymous with the shadows. He is the leader of the infamous League of Assassins, who in certain stories have helped Batman with his early training. Ra's is incredibly intelligent and agile, having spent centuries training to reach the peak limits of his mind and body.

Thanks to the Lazarus Pits, Iron Man would certainly have a hard time keeping this legend down. Ra's could strike when it is opportune for him, or simply outlive Tony and win the long game.

5 Could Beat: Man-Bat's Scary Visage Would Stand No Chance Against Iron Man

Man-Bat Destroying the Bat Signal

Dr. Kirk Langstrom is a scientist at the top of his game with an unfortunate curse to live with. Every so often, thanks to a serum he developed, he will turn into an animalistic humanoid bat hybrid.

Man-Bat gains all of the abilities and functions of a bat, but in a much more maniacal sense because he is the size of a human. Iron Man would seek to make quick work of Man-Bat, seeing as bat hybrid flesh would not be able to withstand the power of Iron Man's precise laser beam strikes.

4 Lose To: Mister Freeze Would Give Iron Man The Cold Shoulder

Mister Freeze Celebrating Victory

Dr. Victor Fries lives a life devoted to science, specifically to the study and development of cryonics. The one thing he values more than his work is his wife, Nora Fries, who became very ill.

Victor's pursuit to cure her led to an accident that made his body only function below freezing. He applies this to his weapons and his suit. Depending on his suit, Tony cannot withstand extreme temperatures, which would lend to the favor of Mister Freeze, stopping Iron Man in his tracks for good.

3 Could Beat: Iron Man Would Send Killer Croc Back To The Sewers

Giant Mutated Killer Croc

Batman attracts a lot of villains based on other animals. This might be due to the nature of his superhero persona, or the makings of his surroundings. Nevertheless, Iron Man would have no problems taking out Killer Croc.

Waylon Jones was a crocodile wrestler who has been deformed by a mutation that turned him into a giant, humanoid lizard. He isn't the brightest bulb but he has an insane level of strength. Iron Man could easily keep his distance and take him out.

2 Lose To: Darkseid's Omega Beams Would Melt Iron Man Inside-Out

Close Up of Darkseid

In the Marvel Universe there exists Thanos and for the DC Universe, there is the Dark God, Darkseid. While Darkseid is more of a Superman villain, Batman has had his fair share of run-ins with him as well. As a matter of fact, Darkseid is the only man to make Batman break the no-gun rule.

Darkseid would make quick work of Iron Man, no doubt using his Omega Beams to superheat Iron Man's molecules, ending in the death of Tony Stark.

1 Could Beat: Iron Man Would Get The Last Laugh Against The Joker

The Joker Sitting On His Throne

Batman's most prolific villain and a constant in Bruce Wayne's life is the Joker. The Joker has made it his life's work to ruin The Batman. While having no blatantly obvious powers, the Joker has killed the second Robin and even paralyzed Barbara Gordon, cementing the danger he poses.

He uses a plethora of clown-themed weapons and tools to fight his foes, but at his core, he's just a man. Joker has been through a gamut of physical pain, but Iron Man could bring enough firepower to end this clown's jokes for good.
