Ever since Doomsday was first confirmed to appear in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which happened back in December with the release of a full-length trailer, the identity of the actor involved in bringing the massive villain to life has remained a mystery. Now that mystery stands revealed; voice actor Robin Atkin Downes revealed his involvement in "BvS" via Twitter.

Very proud to release that I helped bring #Doomsday to life in the upcoming @BatmanvSuperman #Dreamgigs- Robin Atkin Downes (@Robin_A_Downes) February 26, 2016

Downes has a lengthy resume, having contributed his voice to such series as "Regular Show," "Ultimate Spider-Man," "The Strain," "Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.," "Beware the Batman," "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes" and many, many more. Downes' tweet does not confirm if he just provided Doomsday with a voice or was also the motion capture performer for the CG creation.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams and more, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25.
