"Batman v Superman" Ultimate Edition to be First 100GB 4K Blu-ray Home Release

The Ultimate Edition of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will not only consist of an extended version of Zack Snyder's film, but a slew of new bonus features. To accommodate all that data, the film will be released in 4K Blu-ray 100GB triple-layer format.Inside CI reports that this release will make Warner Bros. the first major studio to utilize the high capacity format for a home release. Though more consumers are finding their way towards digital streaming every day, there is a quality and bonus feature capacity with physical formats that some believe just can't be matched. WB choosing to go with such a new and pricier option certainly seems to be a sign they agree.
