"Batman v Superman" Trailer Leaks Online

Ahead of its announced Monday release, the first trailer for Warner Bros.' anticipated "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has leaked.

An apparent cell phone recording from an advanced screening outside of the U. S., the trailer began popping up online Thursday afternoon, with Warner Bros. swiftly issuing takedown orders. Overnight, however, the trailer gained traction on various video hosting sites, spreading quickly across the Internet as fans discovered and shared the early look at the movie.

Director Zack Snyder tweeted a 20-second teaser for the trailer late Wednesday. Warner Bros. is scheduled to release the full trailer on Monday.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," starring Ben Affleck in his first appearance as Batman and Henry Cavill returning to his "Man of Steel" role of Superman, with Gal Gadot debuting as Wonder Woman, is scheduled for release on March 25, 2016.
