Even more information about the new Batman mythos created for director Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has emerged, revealing that the film's take on Alfred, the Batcave and more are different than what we've seen before. What Culture reported on the new images and information that come from a leaked "Batman V Superman" companion book.

It's revealed that in the new film, Alfred (Jeremy Irons) was never Bruce Wayne's (Ben Affleck) butler but instead worked for Thomas and Martha Wayne as a bodyguard; the former SAS officer now serves as Bruce's chief of security. Alfred lives in a "comfortable trailer" on the grounds of the Wayne estate. The Batcave is also no longer under Wayne Manor; instead, it lies underneath Bruce's new lakeside residence.

Batman's cowl is comprised of a titanium helmet that contains gadgets that allow him to see in the dark or stream info in front of his eyes. The cowl also comes with a voice-altering throat microphone. The armor Batman wears in his confrontation with Superman is actually built by Bruce and Alfred, although the book does not specify whether or not Kryptonite is used to power the suit.

Batman's arsenal consists of guns that fire sleeping darts and aren't lethal like previously assumed. The guns he's been seen using in pictures and footage are actually "grapnel guns," not firearms. Batman uses these to scale buildings and swing through the skyline.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and more, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on March 25, 2016.
