All eyes have been on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's" opening weekend, which was last predicted to open with a weekend haul of above $140M. Now Deadline has reported on the film's advance ticket sales, as compiled from various sources.

As of now, "BvS" is outpacing both "Deadpool" and "Avengers" in advance ticket sales. "Deadpool" opened with $132.4M last month and "The Avengers" broke records in 2012 with it's $207.4M opening weekend. Deadline states that "Batman v Superman" has reportedly earned between $20M-$25M in advance ticket sales, which puts it on course similar to "Dark Knight Rises" in 2012, which opened to $160.9M. In terms of records, it's spring competition is "Furious 7" which debuted in early April last year with a $147M opening weekend.

Movio, which monitors trend in ticket buying, released a statement about what they've seen regarding "Batman v Superman's" ticket sales so far. "As expected, 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is anticipated by the fan male audience," said Movio Co-Founder and Chief Executive Will Palmer. "The audience profile is 78% male, massively over indexing between age 14-49. This is your avid opening weekend audience with some 70% attending films during opening week, spending 3.2 times more than the typical US moviegoer." The company notes that 57% of the advance ticket sales have been for the Thursday preview night screenings and another 22% have been for Friday night.

Directed by Zack Snyder, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot. The film opens March 25.
