The acclaimed animated film Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 1 ended with a cliffhanger post-credits sequence placing Bruce Wayne at Poison Ivy's mercy. Now, CBR's exclusive sneak peek at Part 2 reveals the superhero billionaire's savior: Catwoman.

In the following clip from Batman: The Long Halloween, Part 2, Ivy retains control over Bruce and prepares to have him sign over his company to local crime lord Carmine Falcone. Before the brainwashed Batman can relinquish his birthright, however, Catwoman arrives on the scene to confront the plant-based supervillain.

Portrayed by Katee Sackhoff, Ivy was introduced in Part 1's post-credits scene as an associate of the Falcone who puts Bruce under her thrall after he refuses to do business with the Falcone family. With the Part 2 clip opening three months after the ending to Part 1, it appears Ivy has quietly had Bruce under her control for quite some time.

While updating and offering select divergences from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's classic comic book story, Batman: The Long Halloween remains a largely faithful adaptation of the holiday-themed murder mystery. Set during Bruce's early years as the Dark Knight, the two-part adaptation boasts an all-star cast as Batman's colorful rogues gallery and shows what happens when they rise to menace Gotham while its organized crime elements are targeted by a shadowy serial killer.

Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two features Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Naya Rivera as Catwoman/Selina Kyle and Katee Sackhoff as the menacing Poison Ivy. The film debuts digitally on July 27 and on Blu-ray on Aug. 10.
