Hot Toys has debuted a new Batman collectible figure inspired by Zack Snyder's Justice League.

The sixth-scale figure is based on the version of the Batsuit seen in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader designed to combat the Darkseid's Parademon army. "It’s an upgraded, tougher version of his iconic costume with visible light armor plates [that] offers protection from the hits while still being able to move and throw quick punches. He can also wear goggles with the suit that allows multiple functions to assist him in piloting his vehicle," Hot Toys revealed in an Instagram post. The figure is currently available for pre-order and is expected to ship between Oct. 2023 and March 2024.

Affleck first appeared in the DC Extended Universe as Bruce Wayne/Batman in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He reprised the role in David Ayer's Suicide Squad (2016) and both cuts of Justice League and is slated to appear as the Caped Crusader in two more DCEU films: The Flash and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The Hot Toys collectible figure has been "meticulously crafted on the image" of Affleck's Batman and features "a cowled head sculpt with interchangeable eye pieces and lower faces capturing Ben Affleck’s facial expressions, interchangeable goggles, a specialized body portraying Batman’s muscular physique, [and a] finely tailored Tactical Batsuit textured with elements of battle-damage." Also included with the figure is a Parademon gun, multiple Batarangs, grapple guns, other Bat gadgets and a Paredemon diorama base.

Warner Bros. Regrets the Snyder Cut

Following the release of Justice League, an online petition was created asking Warner Bros. to release the "Snyder Cut" of the film. The petition, which garnered more than 180,000 signatures, used the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut on social media, which became a rallying cry for DC fans who wanted to see Snyder's original version of Justice League. After almost three years of campaigning, Snyder announced in May 2020 that his cut of the film, titled Zack Snyder's Justice League, would be coming to HBO Max in 2021. The movement was seen as a major win for both DCEU and Snyder fans, but recently, Warner Bros. executives have anonymously expressed regret at releasing the "Snyder Cut" as they believe it has only emboldened fans to oppose Warner Bros. leadership at every turn.
