Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Batman/Bruce Wayne, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Superman and more are showing off some skin and spending some time in the sun in DC Comics' new swimsuit variant cover series.

Revealed in DC's solicitations for June 2023, the new variant series sees some of DC's most recognizable superheroes stepping away from the action and enjoying a relaxing day at the beach or catching some waves. The series includes seven variants in total, each coming from a different artist and featured in a different DC series.

DC's Swimsuit Variant Series Includes Poison Ivy, Nightwing and More

The swimsuit variant series includes covers by Sweeney Boo for Poison Ivy #13 (releasing June 6, 2023, from writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Marcio Takara), Joe Quinones for Titans #2 variant (releasing June 20, 2023, from writer Tom Taylor and artist Nicola Scott), Michael Allred for Wonder Woman #800 (releasing June 20, 2023, from Becky Cloonan, Michael W. Conrad, Tom King, Joelle Jones, Todd Nauck, Daniel Sampere and more) and Pete Woods for Detective Comics #1073 (releasing June 27, 2023, from writer Ram V and artist Stefano Raffaele).

Terry and Rachel Dodson's Catwoman #56 variant, meanwhile, sees Selina pausing for a moment in the sun only after apprehending a number of supposed enemies on a sailboat. Releasing June 20, 2023, from writer Tini Howard and artist Nico Leon, the synopsis for the issue reads, "What's the saying—two cats are better than one? Unless you’re in Gotham and the two Cats in question disagree on how the city should be run. With Selina freshly out of jail, Eiko Hasigawa has some unfinished business as Catwoman that Selina confronts her about. Meanwhile, Selina has some unfinished business of her own…and pays a visit her sister, Maggie."

Otto Schmidt has two Action Comics #1056 variant covers, the first of which sees Natasha Irons, Supergirl/Kara Zor-El, Connor Kent/Superboy and Power Girl all laying out in the sun while the second sees Supergirl playfully chilling Superboy with her freeze breath.

Lastly, Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne are hanging out in their swimsuits in Babs Tarr's Batman/Superman: World's Finest #16 variant. Releasing June 20, 2023, from writer Mark Waid and artist Dan Mora, the synopsis for the issue reads, "Batman and Superman versus machines! A.I. villains and heroes—Shaggy Man, G.I. Robot, Red Tornado, and Chemo among them—have launched a global cyberattack alongside Newmazo’s soldiers. Batman, Superman, Robin, and Metamorpho, the Element Man, are unprepared for the onslaught. With millions of lives on the line, the World’s Finest team must find a way to pull the plug before it’s too late!"
