Batman: The Brave and the Bold Returns for Scooby-Doo Team-Up Film

A new animated film from DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation teams Batman with the cast of Scooby-Doo in Scooby-Doo & Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The film will see Batman work together with Mystery Incorporated members Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma when villains from both their worlds unite to commit crimes.

As seen in the film's trailer, the heroes Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, Plastic Man, The Question and Detective Chimp will be on the case. The good guys will have to stop Batman villains Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Ventriloquist, Killer Croc and Scarecrow, as well as classic Scooby-Doo villains Ghost Clown, Spooky Space Kook, Gentleman Ghost and Miner 49er.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold debuted in 2008 before coming to an end in 2011. Now, seven years later, Diedrich Bader returns as the voice of Batman. Director Jake Castorena and writer Paul Giacoppo are adapting a story by supervising producer James Tucker. Michael Jelenic is also a producer on the film, with Sam Register, Benjamin Melniker and Michael Uslan serving as executive producers.

Set for release on DVD and digital on Jan. 9, 2018, Diedrich Bader is Batman, Frank Welker is Scooby-Doo and Fred, Grey Griffin is Daphne and Black Canary, Matthew Lillard is Shaggy and Kate Micucci is Velma.
