Following a sneak peek at Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment's upcoming retro-style Batman film, the box art and synopsis for "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" has been unveiled. The box art shows off the show's '60s roots, as it's based on the classic "Batman" TV series.

The full-length animated feature is done in the style of the '60s live-action "Batman" series and, appropriately, features the voices of many of that show's cast. Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar will reprise their roles as Batman, Robin and Catwoman in the film. But, as the synopsis reveals, Catwoman isn't the only villain threatening the Dynamic Duo.

"It's back to the 1960s as Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by a quartet of Batman's most fiendish foes - Penguin, The Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. This time, the four Super-Villains have combined their wicked talents to hatch a plot so nefarious that the Dynamic Duo will need to go to outer space (and back) to foil their arch enemies and restore order in Gotham City. It's a truly fantastic adventure that will pit good against evil, good against good, evil against evil ... and feature two words that exponentially raise the stakes for both sides: Replicator Ray. Holy Multiplication Tables!"

"Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" will be released on Digital HD on October 11 and available for streaming and download on a number of platforms, including Amazon, iTunes, PlayStation, Xbox and more. The Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD will be released in stores on November 1.
