Warner Bros. has released a new Justice League promo that showcases Aquaman's (Jason Momoa) recruitment into the DC Comics superteam, under the suggestion of Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne.
The footage reveals a reluctance on the underwater hero's part, as he initially prefers to keep his crimefighting work low-key. However, that clearly changes as, by the end of the promo, he's more than willing to beat the heck out of Apokolips' Parademons.
Take a look at the new Justice League promo below.
After Justice League, Momoa's Aquaman next appears in his own solo film (set to release in 2018) from director James Wan. The helmer recently took to Twitter to praise Zack Snyder's team-up film, touting the central characters as a blast to watch, and a "terrific" film overall.
Justice League hits theaters on Nov. 17 and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
